Our family stayed at the house of my father in law in Yokaichiba and was back home last night.
There is no air-conditioner in the main roon and it was really hot. On the day before yesterday we went out to the big pool and my daughter Airin enjoyed herself very much. Actually she cannot get her face into the water but she told us she could swim well. How happy she is!

Hello Poco-san,
My name is Michael and I live in New Jersey, United States. I live very close to Manhattan.
From 1995-98, I lived in Nosaka-machi, which I know is now called Sosa-shi. I was an English teacher at Nosaka Chugakko. I have many fond memories of Nosaka-machi and Yokaichiba-shi. I especially liked Iidaka-dandin, and Matsuyama Jinja, not far from Sosa High School.
I have a Web site, www.sliceofjapan.com, on which I have put photos I took while I lived in Japan.
Good luck with your blog, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Soredewa mata,
Michael
