Kamikakushi!

What on earth happened again?
I have lost one of a pair of chopsticks and I don't have a slightest idea where it is.

I was boiling red beans soup, 'oshiruko' in Japanese, to make my lunch and I stirred the soup with chopsticks and left the kitchen in a while. I heard the sound something dropped in the kitchen and found that there are no chopsticks in a pan and one of the pair dropped on the floor. I was looking for the other pair of chopsticks all around the kitchen but I coudn't find it. That was gone!
Did someone or some animals or some insects take it? It's like a 'kamikakushi' .
It means someone or something disappear in an blink of an eye without any traces.

Anyway trying to look for something missing makes me stressed out.
